Wellspring Sound. The birthplace of “Buzz” and “The Water’s Edge.” I also recorded part of “Leave of Absence” with Edgewood Box here. Eric Kilburn heads this place and is a phenominal engineer, producer, and musician. Be sure to ask him to bust out the mandolin and go nuts if you ever get a chance to work with him.
Avenue C. Been playing here on Wednesdays at their Open Mic for quite some time. Jeff Munro and his crew are a great group of guys….not to mention the “regular” talent that shows up here. Great little spot to go to.
FrontPorch CD. CD replication company run by Bill Heydolph. An amazing place for musicians to go through to get their projects done. Bill is personable, friendly, and insanely helpful during the whole process, especially if you don’t know much about it. I’ve done 3 full length CD’s using his services.
The Lizard Lounge. A great little spot just outside Boston on Mass Ave. Their Monday night Open mic competition is by far one of the best things to go to if you want to hear a rediculous number of talented Boston musicians. Tom Bianchi is also an amazing host and a great guy.
David Lanz Musician who originally inspired me to play the piano. I used to hear his music in my house growing up as a kid, as my father would have it playing in the background during dinner and in the evenings. I’ve had the chance to meet him in person and thank him for his music, something few people get to do to those they idolize.
CDFreedom. Company that allows musicians to sell their music via the Web. My music can be bought as hardcopy or digitally through here. They’ve been extremely helpful and are a good resource for any musician.
